our ethos is that of collaboration and equality enabling people to shine from the core
Our improvisations are set within a devised framework.
Our performance at The Millennium Gallery Sheffield was based around balance, and the challenges we face. This was the first non narrative performance the group had experienced. This is very deliberate, based on workshop experiments, to enable a poetic experiential piece embedded in direct experiences of the group.
movement
We explore movement through responding to drawing, sound, objects and ideas. The multi discipline approach allows us to be creative in whatever format we choose in the moment.
sound
The group respond to movement and drawing when creating new works. Voice description of the performance create song. This along with the playing of instruments create our unique sound.
vision
Concepts are explored through visual language using material and object. These experiments create new ways of seeing, instigating dialogue and collaboration.
film
We use live feed during performance to enhance the small subtle detail of improvised performance. We also create film developed during our art experiments.
technology
We have researched the use of apps. These enable individuals to play "instruments" which can also be projected, therefore playing visually and audibly.
